Matured exclusively from a single first fill Bourbon Hogshead (cask #803748) This twelve year old expression produced 286 bottlings at cask strength. Immediately you get autumnal fruits on the nose, with clotted cream and a subtle woodiness. The woody notes continue on the palate, only this time in the form of fresh oak, this is followed by citrus and allspice. The wood notes linger on the finish with a hint of spice, along with cereals and a hint of honey.
