This is a beautifully balanced small batch Whisky from the Linkwood distillery and bottled by James Eadie. Maturation in three re-charred Hogshead casks has given this ten year old dram a delightfully fruity character. This particular release has been nicknamed 'The Peacock', in homage to one of the many pubs owned by James Eadie.

Vibrant orchard fruits lead the aroma—ripe pear and crisp apple, lifted by lemon zest. Vanilla sweetness and gentle spice from re-charred oak mingle with a hint of sherry, revealing delicate dried-fruit undertones that amplify the fruit-forward, elegant perfume.
Palate
Silky and balanced on the palate, this Linkwood carries orchard fruit—pear and apple—with a sunny citrus lift. Fruity sherry notes mingle with vanilla, almond and a touch of honey, while the re-charred hogshead influence adds gentle spice and a whisper of oak. The finish is warm, with toffee and a refined fruit sweetness lingering long.
