Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with a warm copper glow and mahogany edges, a deep, glistening hue born from sherry-cask maturation.
Nose
A gentle, slightly dry nose with a light prickle. Initially shy, it takes time to unfurl, with top notes of herbal and menthol hints of spearmint, progressing to caramel-toffee and a whisper of chocolate-coated toffee. A touch of water awakens a spicy warmth and, for me, a fleeting suggestion of Turkish Delight.
Palate
A silky, smooth palate that interprets the aroma with a lightly tannic frame. Sweet initial notes give way to nuanced spice through a medium-length finish, ending in a cooling, mouth‑cooling aftertaste.
Finish
Medium-length finish, lightly tannic with a sweet glow of caramel and toffee that drifts into spice as it fades. A mouth-cooling aftertaste lingers, leaving a clean, subtly chocolate-tinted glow.
