A 2004 vintage Glen Spey bottled by Gordon and Macphail for the Connoisseurs Choice range. Released as a 9 Year Old this was matured in refill Bourbon barrels before being bottled at 46% ABV. Light and sweet with notes of pear, vanilla and pepper.

(Glen-SPAY) Glen Spey is a lesser-known distillery located in Rothes, Moray. It was built in 1878 by James Stuart as Mill of Rothes, originally starting from an oatmeal mill before distilling equipment was added. The Glen Spey name came in 1887, when Stuart sold the site to W&A Gilbey, the London gin producer that later became closely connected with Scotch whisky blending.
