Nose

Aromas of velvety Oloroso sherry envelop ripe raisin and fig, mingling with toffee, dark chocolate and a hint of orange zest. Almonds, vanilla and baking spice weave through polished oak, adding depth to a warm, nutty, subtly luxurious aroma.

(blair-ATH-oll) Blair Athol was founded in 1798 by John Stewart and Robert Robertson in Pitlochry, originally opening as Aldour after the Allt Dour burn. The early distillery closed soon after, before reopening in 1825 under the Blair Athol name. It later passed through several owners, including Peter Mackenzie, before Arthur Bell & Sons acquired the distillery in 1933.
