Part of The Cooper's Choice Golden Cut Collection, this limited-edition Blair Athol was distilled in May 2011 and matured in American oak before receiving additional maturation in a Madeira cask. Bottled at 50% ABV without chill filtration, just 306 bottles were released.

The Madeira finish complements Blair Athol's naturally rich Highland character with layers of ripe fruit, caramelised sweetness and warming spice, creating a rounded and generously flavoured single malt.

(blair-ATH-oll) Blair Athol was founded in 1798 by John Stewart and Robert Robertson in Pitlochry, originally opening as Aldour after the Allt Dour burn. The early distillery closed soon after, before reopening in 1825 under the Blair Athol name. It later passed through several owners, including Peter Mackenzie, before Arthur Bell & Sons acquired the distillery in 1933.
