Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze highlights and a warm, mahogany-tinged glow.
Nose
Opulent and warm, the nose opens with red apple and baked pear, unfolding into dried fig and plum. Sherry depth brings caramelized orange, toasted almond, and hazelnut, with vanilla and cocoa adding richness. A hint of clove and white pepper lifts the aroma, carried by the bold 57.1% edge.
Palate
Opulent and warming, the palate reveals dark dried fruits—raisin, fig—lifted by orange zest, cocoa and toffee. Spices—clove, cinnamon, nutmeg—meet polished oak, all at cask strength. Rich, velvety, with lingering sherry sweetness and chocolatey coffee notes on the finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish of dried fruits, cocoa and toffee, threaded with spice and orange zest; sherry-softened oak lingers, leaving a refined, sweetly drying kiss.
