Blair Athol Chapter 7 - Single Ex-Bourbon Cask #301068 Whisky 12 Year Old · 2009 Vintage
In stock
Another workhorse distillery for Diageo producing malts for its Bell's Blended Scotch. It's a beautiful distillery built in 1798 in Pitlochry. Majority of Blair Athols malt for blending is destined for bourbon wood ageing. It has a nutty character resulting from cloudy worts and short fermentation. Allowing controlled levels of solids coming across in the wash still add a deep, rich malt loaf character.
