Nose
Sherry-rich and opulent, the nose opens with raisin, fig and orange zest, layered over toffee, vanilla, and warm caramel. Spiced notes of cinnamon and clove drift with toasted oak and a malty hint, finishing with a perfumed whisper of leather. A poised, generous Prelude to the palate.
Palate
Full-bodied and velvety, this Blair Athol coats the palate with raisin and fig from the sherry cask, layered with orange zest, honeyed barley and toffee. Cinnamon and nutmeg spice weave through vanilla oak, delivering warmth and depth. The finish is long and decadent, with dark chocolate, leather and a lingering orange-tinted sweetness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish: sherry-driven and fruit-forward, with raisin, fig and dark cherry notes unfurling into cocoa, toasted almond and caramel. Oak spice—cinnamon and clove—lingers with a warm, silky glow that stays on the palate long after the sip.
