Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a subtle mahogany rim.
Nose
Sun-warmed orchard fruits mingle with creamy malt and vanilla, unfolding into dried raisin, fig and prune. Subtle spice, toasted oak and a velvet sherry lift weave through, with hints of walnut and cocoa. A refined, orchard-sweet finish lingers, inviting another inhale.
Palate
Silky and sumptuous, the palate unfurls with orchard fruit and dried fruit—apricot, raisin and plum—folded with orange zest and warm vanilla. Sherry-soaked sweetness yields praline, toffee and cocoa, accented by cinnamon and clove. A gentle oak backbone lends structure; at 46% the sip remains poised, finishing with a long, elegant glow of fruit, nuts and a soft, fragrant spice.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with dark fruit, fig and raisin, wrapped in cocoa and spice. The sherry influence lingers, yielding a sweet, cherry-tobacco complexity with toasted almond and oak, as warmth slowly fades into a refined, lingering sweetness.
