Ardmore James Eadie Small Batch Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky 9 Year Old · 2010 Vintage
In stock
Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2020, this 9-year-old Ardmore was released by independent bottler James Eadie as part of their Small Batch series. Matured in refill American oak hogsheads, the batch yielded 662 bottles and was bottled at 46% ABV, presenting the distillery’s distinctive Highland peat style in a balanced and approachable form.
Ardmore Distillery, founded in 1898 near Huntly in the eastern Highlands, is known for producing a gently peated Highland malt, a style that stands apart from the heavily peated whiskies of Islay. Its spirit often combines earthy smoke with honeyed sweetness and soft malt character, making it particularly well suited to maturation in traditional oak casks.
