Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with mahogany depth and a coppery, sunlit glow.
Nose
Sherry-influenced aromas rise in a rich, coastal bouquet: dark plum and raisin mingle with orange zest, fig and cocoa, edged by toasted almond and caramel malt. A saline breeze threads through the sweetness, while cinnamon and clove spice linger. The result is a sun-warmed, maritime lift that promises a lush, long finish.
Palate
Opulent and warming, the mouthfeel coats the tongue as sherry influence unfurls with dark cherry, fig and raisin, tempered by orange zest, vanilla and toffee. Candied spice, cinnamon and clove, threads through resinous oak, while a coastal salt kiss hints at maturity and elegance. The finish lengthens into roasted nuts, cocoa and polished leather, lingering with a velvety warmth.
Finish
Opulent, long finish where dark sherry fruit—prune, fig, raisin—coats the palate, threaded with cocoa and toasted spice. A subtle maritime whisper persists as polished oak grounds the sweetness, leaving a velvet warmth that lingers into espresso, burnt sugar, and a final kiss of salt.
