Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with copper-gold highlights and a dusky mahogany edge.
Nose
Intense peat smoke, iodine and coastal brine leap from the glass, a medicinal, sailors' aroma carried on ash and salt. Subtle sherry-tinged sweetness emerges: dark fig, prune and a hint of almond, wrapped in vanilla and oak, adding warm, refined complexity.
Palate
Bold peat smoke coats the palate with medicinal iodine and coastal brine, followed by lemon zest and honeyed sweetness. Charred wood, cracked pepper and a whisper of vanilla mingle as the spirit evolves into a dry, ash-tinged finish with lingering maritime warmth.
Finish
A long, peppery-peated finish that lingers with smoke, sea-salt and iodine, slowly softening into hints of vanilla and dried citrus, leaving a warm, resinous afterglow.
