The third 10 year old release of Greedy Angels from Amrut, a series which acknowledges the challenging climate for maturing whisky in India. With low humidity and high temperatures, the whisky matures very quickly in Bangalore and means the rate of evaporation is much quicker and more pronounced. Bottled from bourbon barrels, this release limited to 900 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a faint mahogany rim, rich, sun-warmed honey and caramel.
Nose
Rich vanilla and caramel-cream lead, buoyed by toasted oak and bourbon spice. Hints of coconut and tropical fruit emerge as the alcohol warms, with a warm, resinous oak backbone adding depth. Aromatic, sun-warmed and inviting, the nose promises a bold, bourbon-forward spirit.
Palate
Full-bodied and opulent, this 55% Amrut greets the palate with thick vanilla and toffee, layered with tropical fruit and dried apricot. Bourbon-driven oak adds caramelized spice—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—while toasted coconut and espresso notes deepen the mid-palate. Rich, slightly oily texture, with a bold peppery burn on the finish that slowly yields to sweet, resinous oak.
Finish
Long, warm finish threaded with vanilla and caramel, carried by toasted oak. Dried fruit and tropical fruit peels emerge, a peppery spice gradually subsiding into a polished, resinous echo that lingers with a refined warmth.
