Colour

Nose

Aromas of dark figs, prunes and raisins mingle with orange zest and dried cherries. Rich sherry dances with polished oak, cocoa and toffee, a touch of espresso. Warm spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove—unfold in a velvety bouquet, with a whisper of tobacco and mature sweetness.

Palate

Luxuriously velvety and sherried on the palate, this Aberlour opens with dried fig and raisin, bright orange marmalade, toffee and dark chocolate. Spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—layer over plush oak with a whisper of leather. Full-bodied and warming, it coats the tongue and finishes long with fruitcake, ripe berries, and cocoa.

Finish

Long and luxurious, the finish unfurls with sherried depth: raisin and orange zest, dark chocolate, and toasted almond fed by velvety oak spice. A warm, persistent glow from the cask strength lingers, gradually fading into soft, sweet warmth.
