The Casg Annamh is a Single Malt which has been matured in three different types of cask: European Oak Sherry Cask and two different types of American Oak. The Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks have a significant influence on the non-chill filtered liquid and perfectly compliment Aberlour’s distillate flavour, bringing sweet and rich notes.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Opulent and sweet, the nose opens with tangy orange zest, glazed cherries and raisins, lifted by a hint of ginger. Sherry-influenced richness from the Oloroso casks threads through the fruit, lending warmth and depth to Aberlour’s lush, inviting aroma.
Palate
The Sweet and fruity notes continue on the palate apple and cinnamon crumble and ripe peaches balanced with spicy notes of liquorice and cloves. The finish is long and rich, fruity with a touch of dry spice.
