Wire Works Rum Cask Finish release is a dual maturation of their lightly-peated spirit, initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for around 2 years in our very own fresh rum casks, and officially their first release to clock up 6 years total spent aging in our warehouse.
A bright and juicy single malt whisky bursting with tropical fruits, complimented by our signature background smoke.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with warm amber undertones and a honey-gold sheen.
Nose
A confectionary bouquet of jelly babies and icing sugar opens to sunny grilled pineapple, white chocolate and lemon meringue. Vanilla cheesecake swirls through creamy vanilla, while cashews add a nutty depth, finished by ripe strawberries and cream.
Palate
Creamy Crème Anglaise provides a luscious base for tropical guava, papaya and ripe banana, lifted by delicate peat-smoke. Shortbread and lemon curd add sweetness and citrusy zing, while fennel hints leave a bright, lingering edge.
Finish
Rhubarb and custard, candied ginger, orange marmalade and peppermint creams linger on the finish.
