Tomintoul Distillery was built in 1965, within the picturesque Cairngorms National Park.
The Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, created this small batch bottling by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which are then married & finished in hand selected White Port barriques from Portugal.
The process of ‘finishing’ creates a beautifully rich, complex & full flavoured single malt scotch whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with a warm honey-amber glow.
Nose
Aromatic fireworks of tangy stone fruits and lychees, lifted by lemon drizzle cake, with vanilla pod and ginger biscuit notes.
Palate
Layers of apricot Danish, poached pears and tarte Tatin bound with black coffee, buttery malt and baking spices.
Finish
Sweet and warming, with lingering notes of Swiss roll and strawberry trifle that gradually fade into mocha and toasted nuts.
