Part of Distell's Limited Release Malt Whisky Collection 2019, this 19 year old vintage Tobermory was initially matured in refill hogsheads, before being finished for two years in Marsala casks. A rich and full bodied whisky packed with luscious sweet fruits - peach, mandarine, pineapple - macadamia nut, spice, and chocolate.

Nose
Rich and opulent aroma of Marsala-finished malt, with sun-kissed peach, mandarin and pineapple dancing on the nose. Creamy macadamia notes mingle with warm spice and a velvet chocolate undertone, all wrapped in subtle oak. A lush, confectionary fruit sweetness promises a decadent, full-bodied palate.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied on the palate, Tobermory delivers a molten fruitcake of peach, mandarin and pineapple, layered with macadamia nut, warm spice and dark chocolate. Velvety oils coat the tongue, Marsala-sweet hints weaving with gentle oak, finishing long with caramelized fruit and nut.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish where Marsala-cask richness lingers. Sweet peach, mandarine and pineapple echo on the palate, intertwined with macadamia nuttiness, spice and dark chocolate. The warmth remains velvety, fading slowly to toasted oak and a whisper of caramel.
