Tobermory Hebridean Series 4 - Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky 26 Year Old

A limited release from Tobermory’s Hebridean Series, this 26 year old was bottled in 2023 at cask strength of 49.2% ABV. Fourth in the series, it was initially matured in American oak before spending 11 years finishing in Oloroso sherry casks, giving it one of the longest secondary maturations in the range.

The extended sherry finishing brings depth and structure to Tobermory’s unpeated island style, layering sweetness and spice over a core of mature spirit. The character centres on dark sugar, dried fruits, vanilla fudge, candied ginger and nutty sherry tones, supported by well-integrated oak. The finish is long and composed, with lingering chocolate, roasted nuts and gentle wood.
