This 33 year old was distilled in 1991 initially aged in a sherry hoshead and then finished in a refill hogshead. The result is a richly fruity sherried dram at cask strength with an outturn of 157 bottles only.

Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Sherried richness envelops the nose with a cascade of dried fruits—raisins, fig, date—and orange zest, brightened by red cherry and plum. Dark chocolate, toffee and almond weave through toasted oak, while cinnamon and clove lend warming spice. A creamy malt sweetness underpins the depth, giving a polished, cask-strength invitation to the palate.
Palate
Velvety and full-bodied, this sherried Strathmill coats the palate with rich dried fruit—raisins, figs, dates—alongside orange zest and dark chocolate. Praline sweetness, vanilla, and oak spice (cinnamon, clove) mingle with a warming cask-strength kick, finishing with toasted nuts and a long fruity echo.
Finish
Long, warm finish of rich sherry fruit, with dark raisin, fig and berry notes, woven with baking spices and cocoa, and a final kiss of oak that lingers.
