Distilled at Strathmill in July 2011, this Speyside single malt spent more than 14 years maturing in American oak before additional ageing in a Marsala fortified wine cask. Released as part of The Cooper's Choice Golden Cut Collection, it was bottled at 50% ABV without chill filtration and limited to only 336 bottles.
The Marsala finish adds a richer, sweeter dimension to Strathmill's typically soft and fruity character, bringing dried fruit, caramel and warming spice into the malt.
