Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper glow and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Stewed fruit aromas give way to raspberry sorbet and dried banana, while dark chocolate threads through roasted peanut and a subtle coffee bean, all wrapped in a warm, sherried richness.
Palate
Dark forest fruits and clove spice intertwine with soft aniseed. Treacle toffee and ashy undertones are followed by cracked black pepper.
Finish
Medium-bodied and warmly persistent, the finish carries baked apple sweetness into toasted oak, with a gentle spice and an orchard-tinged afterglow that lingers long after the sip.
