This 15-year-old Strathisla was bottled at 54.2% ABV as part of the Darkness range and yielded 174 bottles. The whisky matured in oak before spending a finishing period in Moscatel sherry octave casks, small casks designed to intensify the interaction between the whisky and the wood, amplifying the sweet wine influence.

Colour
Dark amber with copper‑gold hints and a warm, mahogany‑tinged glow.
Nose
Immense, well-integrated notes of ripe fruits, pipe tobacco and dulce de leche burst from the glass, weaving a decadent, inviting aroma.
Palate
Herbal notes rise first, giving way to dark chocolate, salted caramel and carrot cake. The Moscatel influence lends a soft sweetness and creamy depth, with warming spice that lingers on the palate.
Finish
An expansive, long-lasting finish that unfurls from honeyed sweetness through dark chocolate and spice, finishing with a gentle, mentholic lift.
