This Speysider was distilled at Strathisla in 2009. Allowed to mature for 13 years, the malt was bottled in 2022 by Gordon & MacPhail in 2022. This is a splendidly fresh and herbacious whisky.

Colour
Deep copper-amber with a radiant, honey-gold glow.
Nose
Bright and herbaceous on the nose, with fresh-cut herbs and green citrus leading the aroma. Orchard notes of green apple and pear mingle with light honey sweetness, a whisper of vanilla and almond. A delicate malty backbone supports the bouquet, while faint spice and whispers of oak lend quiet elegance.
Palate
Silky and bright on the palate, this Speysider delivers fresh green apple and pear with zesty citrus. Herbaceous notes of thyme and mint mingle with a light honeyed sweetness from the malt, supported by delicate oak spice and a whisper of vanilla. Clean acidity maintains balance, finishing with a crisp, herb-forward echo and a subtle mineral lift.
Finish
Long, refined finish where malt sweetness lingers, opening to dried fruit, orange zest and gentle spice, with toasted oak. A warm, lingering echo of sherry-soft richness coats the palate.
