Colour

Deep coppery amber with mahogany undertones and a warm honey-gold gleam.

Nose

Fresh and gentle on the nose, Glentauchers unfolds with delicate orchard fruits—pear and green apple—alongside pale honey, vanilla and soft biscuit malt. Subtle oak lends warmth, while citrus zest brightens the aroma. A whisper of spice and almond linger, hinting at Speyside elegance and a creamy, refined sweetness.

Palate

Silky and refined on the palate, bright orchard fruit and honey unfold with creamy vanilla and subtle citrus zest. Gentle malt sweetness, soft spice, and a touch of delicate oak mingle, delivering a smooth, medium-long finish that lingers with warm fruit and vanilla echoes.

Finish

Long, warm and elegantly persistent, the finish reveals orchard and dried-fruit sweetness, with raisins and toasted almond, shading into dark chocolate. Spices linger, a kiss of sherry enhancing silky oak and vanilla.

Glentauchers
(Glen-TAW-kers) Glentauchers was founded near Mulben in 1897 by James Buchanan and W.P. Lowrie, with production beginning in 1898. Its early history was closely tied to blending from the outset, with James Buchanan & Co taking full ownership in 1906 before later becoming part of DCL in 1925. The distillery was expanded in 1966, closed during the whisky downturn in 1985, and returned to production in 1992.
