Opulent sherry-cask aroma envelops dark plum and fig, ripened cherry, and cocoa-dusted toffee. Orange zest and dried spice—cinnamon, clove—kiss toasted oak, while leather and tobacco add depth. A whisper of espresso and almond lingers, weaving a refined, velvety sweetness. At 52.7%, the nose is both lush and poised, hinting at the whisky’s Lowland elegance.

Palate

Opulent and sherried on the palate, St. Magdalene coats the mouth with dark fruit—raisin, fig and plum—framed by burnt-sugar toffee, cacao and a bright orange lift. Rich spices emerge, cinnamon and clove, beneath a silky, oil-rich texture. The finish is long and warming, with oak and espresso notes lingering.

Finish

Long, sherry-draped finish with figs, dried cherries and dark chocolate, balanced by caramel oak and a bright note of orange zest. Spices weave through the finale as the warmth slowly recedes, leaving a refined, lightly drying trail of walnut, toffee and lingering fruit sweetness.
