Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark, burnished amber with coppery mahogany depth and a warm, honey-gold glint.
Nose
Opulent peat and smoky coastal perfume, with sea spray and a touch of creosote. Rich sherry fruits rise—fig, raisin, and dark chocolate—woven with dark oak, leather and tobacco. Subtle vanilla and spice drift through, while a clean iodine kiss lingers, summoning Islay’s sea-breeze elegance.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, with coastal peat and rich sherry. Dried plum, fig and cacao meet caramel and toffee, while a saline, mineral spine keeps it bright. Long, elegant finish: softly smoked, with oak spice and lingering peat notes that deepen with each breath.
Finish
Long, coastal peat and smoke linger, weaving dark fruit, cocoa and leather with a spice-kissed sweetness. A salty sea breeze persists on the finish, tapering to a warm, velvety fade that lingers invitingly on the palate.
