Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with burnished copper highlights and a mahogany tint.
Nose
Peat smoke, iodine and sea-salt drift over a rich core of dried fig and prune, brightened by orange zest and vanilla, with whispers of leather and cocoa from sherry oak.
Palate
The palate opens with coastal peat and iodine, a refined, lingering smoke that coats the tongue. Rich sherry-derived sweetness carries dark fig, prune and cocoa, with bright orange zest cutting through. Velvet oak, vanilla and spice weave through the middle, while a subtle espresso note adds depth. The finish is long and elegant, leaving peat echo, salted caramel and a final saline lift.
Finish
Long, maritime and quietly smoky, the finish blends refined peat with rich sherry warmth. Salty coastal notes kiss dark chocolate and dried fruit, while a peppery spice threads through, fading slowly into a warm, lingering smoke.
