A Port Ellen single malt bottled by Signatory Vintage, this 19 year old was distilled in 1977 and bottled in 1996 after maturation in oak. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 58% ABV, the release was limited to 210 bottles and comes from the now-closed Islay distillery.
Maturation in oak allows Port Ellen’s distinctive character to shine, with dry peat smoke, coastal salinity and citrus brightness supported by gentle spice and structured oak.
