Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished mahogany with copper-amber highlights.
Nose
Intense peat smoke drifts over briny sea air, cloaked in mellow sherry sweetness. Iodine and medicinal notes mingle with waxy peat, ash and coastal kelp, while dark fruit—prune and fig—touch cocoa and orange zest in a poised, maritime perfume.
Palate
Powerful peat and coastal brine greet the palate, followed by sherry-dark fruit—fig, raisin, plum—woven through lacquered oak. Rich espresso and dark chocolate mingle with iodine and black pepper, while a saline mineral tension sustains a long, smoky finish.
Finish
Long maritime smoke lingers alongside a sherried sweetness, merging dark fruit with cocoa and leather. Peat stays focused and refined, while vanilla and oak weave a velvety backbone. The finish grows warm and ember-like, fading to a polished mineral glow with a gentle peppery kiss that lingers.
