Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Dense peat smoke frames a maritime perfume of iodine, sea spray, and ash. Beneath, rich sherry sweetness emerges with dried fig, raisin and cocoa, while leather, tobacco and toasted oak lend gravitas. A vein of vanilla and spice threads through, finishing with an elegant, incense-like smoke that lingers long and refined.
Palate
Opulent Islay peat unfurls with lacquered sweetness; full-bodied, satin on the palate, smoky and medicinal with sea-salt and iodine. Dried fruit and cocoa mingle with velvety sherry, lifted by warming spice. Long, persistent finish of leather, espresso and maritime brine.
Finish
Long, velvety finish where maritime peat and smoke persist, folded with rich sherry sweetness. Dried fruit, cocoa and espresso emerge, with orange zest and spice echoing the oak. A refined, soot‑tinged afterglow lingers, leaving a warm, luxurious coastal echo on the palate.
