Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, burnished amber with a warm copper-gold glow and a whisper of chestnut at the rim.
Nose
Sea-salted peat and iodine rise with a gentle sherry glow. Dried fig and raisin waft through dark chocolate and treacle, while leather and toasted oak add ballast. A whisper of coastal brine lingers, inviting a refined, softly peated Islay aromatics.
Palate
On the palate, a refined procession of whispering peat and maritime salt, layered over rich sherry sweetness. Velvety smoke folds through dried fig and raisin, with cocoa and toasted almond adding depth, while leather and oak lend structure. The finish is long and saline, with lingering spice and a gentle warmth that leaves a polished, contemplative impression.
Finish
Long, maritime finish where peat and smoke drift with sherry sweetness. Dark fruit, cocoa and leather unfold softly, a touch of sea-salt lingering as gentle spice fades into a warm, refined glow.
