A distillery-exclusive single malt from Nikka’s Miyagikyo Distillery, bottled at 55% ABV with oak-centred maturation to emphasise gentle wood influence. Released only at the distillery, it highlights the distillery’s naturally smoother, fruit-forward style.

The character leans toward soft, malty aromatics and gentle oak complexity, with hints of orchard fruit, vanilla and light spice that complement Miyagikyo’s refined profile.

Nikka Miyagikyo
(NIK-ah mee-yah-gee-kyoh) Nikka was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, a Hiroshima-born brewer’s son who travelled to Scotland in 1918 to study whisky-making. After establishing Yoichi in Hokkaido, Taketsuru completed Miyagikyo in 1969 in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, as Nikka’s second distillery and a deliberate contrast to Yoichi’s bolder style.
