Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany-tinged glow.

Nose

Aromas rise with sun-dried fruit and cherry-fig prune, layered over a velvety sherry- and port-sweetness. Beneath, vanilla and caramel from the American oak Bourbon cask mingle with toasted almond and cocoa nibs. Spices glow softly—cinnamon, clove—while a delicate cedar and resin lift the bouquet, giving an impression of aged, refined sweetness and quiet luxury.

Palate

Silky and opulent on the palate, this Yamazaki 2014 marries dried-fruit depth from Sherry and Port casks with creamy vanilla and toffee from Bourbon. Notes of fig, raisin, orange zest, and cocoa rise with subtle spice and almond nuttiness, all framed by polished oak. Rich, balanced sweetness lingers into a long, warm finish.

Finish

An expansive, refined finish that lingers with silky sweetness and spice. Sherry- and port-derived dark fruits unfold into vanilla-caramel depth, while toasted oak adds a gentle tannic lift. A velvety fade carries orange zest and a hint of cocoa, slowly receding to a polished, lingering warmth.
