Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper highlights
Nose
Opulent, high-octane bouquet: sun-dried red fruits and citrus peel layered with vanilla, polished oak and cocoa. A lacquered, cedar-spice core carries notes of tobacco and pepper, with a faint whisper of smoke. Dense, concentrated and refined, the aroma betrays the 61.5% ABV in its alluring power and depth.
Palate
Viscous and powerful on the palate, it unveils dark fruit sweetness—ripe plum and fig—layered with lacquered wood, espresso, and a touch of toffee. Spices rise: clove, cinnamon, and a hint of nutmeg, giving cocoa, leather, and tobacco depth, all carried by an oily mouthfeel into a long, warming finish of oak and pepper.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish coats the palate with warm spice and toasted oak, slowly revealing dark fruit, cocoa, and tobacco. A hint of resin and incense lingers, with a silky fade that carries gentle heat and a refined, lingering balance.
