Colour
Opulent sun-kissed amber-gold, with a warm copper glow that deepens to mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Pipe tobacco blends with dried citrus peel, tarred ropes and raisins, lifted by dark, dry oloroso sherry. A resinous, smoky depth lingers, echoing the 31-year-old cask and the rare, artisanal elegance of Karuizawa.
Palate
Opulent and concentrated on the palate, it reveals deep black liquorice with bittersweet orange marmalade, anchored by a backbone of dried fruits. Viscous and warming, it coats the mouth with sherry-rich sweetness and oak, finishing long with raisin sweetness and earthy, polished wood.
Finish
A burst of sweet raisin lingers, giving way to polished oak and a rich, earthy undertone that remains on the palate with stately, lasting grace.
