Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural colour, a deep golden amber with coppery shimmer and honeyed warmth.
Nose
A vibrant bouquet of fresh juicy fruits—apple, pear, quince and lemon zest—unfolds with hints of icing sugar, minerals and limestone. Beeswax notes envelope gentle stewed apples, peach and vanilla, while caramel and toffee bring warmth, escorted by oak and toasted coconut with a delicate whisper of aniseed sweets and cinnamon.
Palate
A punchy, oily palate opens with waxy textures and a fruit-forward interplay. Vanilla and honey weave through yellow fruits—peach, apple, pear—while sweetness is balanced by a peppery, spicy undercurrent. Mineral bite and ginger lift, finishing with a whisper of ripe banana richness.
Finish
The finish is medium-long and warm, featuring lingering notes of vanilla, honey, spices, and fruity undertones. It gradually becomes drier, with herbal and leathery notes, along with hints of fruit jam, dry tobacco, and a gentle, slightly bitter oak.
