Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm golden amber with a subtle waxen sheen and caramel-bronze undertones.
Nose
Creamy, inviting on the nose, giving way to light yet complex fruit and herbal notes. Subtle hints of fruity mincemeat, tinned pears and heather honey drift through, while spicy oak begins to hint at the weight to come. A delicate, familiar waxiness threads the aroma.
Palate
Silky, mouth-filling and wine-sweet, the palate unfolds with peppery, oak-spice that stay lively against a subtle waxiness. The texture is smooth and balanced, swelling into a generous yet restrained warmth. A dash of water heightens sweetness, enhances the waxy mouthfeel, and nudges the flavours toward spice that lingers into a chili-spiced finish.
Finish
A long, chili-spiced finish that dries appetisingly, with lingering pepper. Water heightens the creamy-smooth texture and adds a touch more spice.
