Coastal wax and brine ride atop a rich sherry veil, with dried fig and raisin weaving through dark cocoa. Zesty orange rind and honeyed vanilla brighten the depth, while clove and nutmeg spice threads mingle with resinous, waxy warmth. Polished, heady, and distinctly maritime, it unfolds with quiet, enduring complexity.

(KLINE-leash) Established in 1819 by the Marquis of Stafford in 1819, Clynelish was one of the first purpose-built distilleries. In 1823, the distillery became legal under the Excise Act. Unfortunately due to the recession in 1931 the distillery closed and did not open again until the end of World War II.
