Springbank Whisky Business The Inventors - Alexander Graham Bell Single Cask #332 Whisky 28 Year Old · 1997 Vintage
In stock
In 1876 Alexander Graham Bell made the first phone call, and he coolly predicted that one day there would be a telephone in every town. What would he make of the world now? In recognition of his understatement and his genius, we introduce a very limited bottling of a very special 28 year old Springbank as the second release of The Inventors series, part of the Great Scots collection by Whisky Business.
Only 88 individually numbered bottles available.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany-tinged edges and a wine-kissed amber-gold glow.
Nose
Sweet malt and dry sherry mingle to form a lush, inviting core, while wisps of smoky leather and tobacco lend depth. Complex and fragrant, it suggests warm, gilded oak and subtle spice just beneath the surface.
Palate
Silky on the palate, a gentle spiced warmth opens to chocolate, pear and caramel. Nutmeg, honeysuckle and oak weave through, leaving a refined, lingering finish.
Finish
Long and warming, with sweet spices lingering as they fade into tobacco leaf and dry oak.
