Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with coppery undertones and a touch of mahogany, warmly inviting.
Nose
Creamy goat’s cheese with singed straw and malted milk biscuits; vanilla cheesecake and almond pastry. Cream-soda sweetness in a hayloft, a touch of chocolate-lime sweets and barley water, and a very delicate smoke-kissed note of smoked almonds.
Palate
Key lime pie and vanilla cheesecake greet the palate, with sugared almonds and marzipan and a citrus-sherbet lift. Subtle singed barley smoke weaves through toasted oak, delivering a bright, grassy freshness that lingers.
Finish
Spiced cookies and freshly baked pastries meet honey glaze, fresh cereal and sugared almonds, with a subtle salt lift and a distant, smoky barley echo in a field of freshly harvested barley.
