Tasting Notes
Nose
Creamy goats cheese, singed straw, malted milk biscuits, vanilla cheesecake, almond pastry, cream soda pop in a hayloft! Touches of chocolate lime sweets, barley water squash and ever so delicate smoke (smoked sugared almonds?).
Palate
Key lime pie, vanilla cheesecake, more sugared almonds and marzipan, citrussy-sherbet dip like body. That elegant singed barley or toasted oak smoke from the nose but again very subtle and elegant allowing a fresh and grassy mouthfeel.
Finish
Spiced cookies, freshly baked pastries, honey glaze, fresh cereal, sugared almonds and hints of something salty and smoky in a distant field of freshly harvested barley.
