Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold, suffused with coppery mahogany undertones and a warm, sunlit edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry-soaked notes with dark fruit—raisin, fig, and orange zest—mingle with toffee and cocoa. Rich spice and oak sweetness build a velvety base, while a whisper of peat and sea-brine adds Campbeltown character and refinement.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, it coats the palate with sherry-sweet richness: fig, raisin, dark chocolate, and toasted almond, braided with a hardy peat smoke. Praline, roasted coffee, and spice—cinnamon and clove—emerge alongside salted caramel, while a coastal brine nuance threads through. The high ABV lends warmth and grip, finishing long with cocoa, fruitcake, and lingering smoke.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish, sherry-driven and richly fruit-forward—dark plum and fig, cocoa and toffee—woven with toasted spice and a wisp of peat. Coastal warmth lingers, with almond, oak and a soft, lingering sweetness fading into a final, smoky kiss.
