Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany rim.
Nose
Sweet and subtly spicy, with honey, demerara sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. A gentle wisp of peat smoke drifts over a dusty, freshly milled barley core, hinting at Springbank’s coastal craft and its local barley provenance.
Palate
Tropical and soft fruit sweetness on the palate, with ripe pineapple, mango and peaches. A building peat smoke interweaves with the fruit, while green tea and a coppery note follow, lending lift and a subtle mineral edge.
Finish
Creamy, buttery mouthfeel lingers, infused with light, integrated peat smoke and a coastal saltiness that lends a subtle maritime lift to the finish.
