Bottled in 2021 at 46% ABV, this 25-year-old Springbank is part of the distillery’s sought-after annual limited releases from Campbeltown.
The whisky matured for a quarter of a century in a combination of 70% sherry casks, 15% bourbon casks and 15% rum casks, a mix that adds depth and complexity to Springbank’s distinctive maritime spirit. The 2021 edition yielded 1,400 bottles worldwide.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth, glowing coppery highlights and a honey-gold edge.
Nose
Opening with rhubarb, tropical fruits, golden syrup and shortbread, the aroma unfolds into coconut shavings, barbecued meats and sugar cane, delivering a warm maritime sweetness with depth and inviting complexity.
Palate
Almonds, pecan pie and butterscotch open the palate, then peat builds with cigar box and old library notes. Salty, earthy, briny undercurrents carry a coastal maturity through a refined, lingering finish.
Finish
Refined with a delicate veil of peat smoke that lingers. Dunnage warehouse earthiness and bung cloth emerge, while fruit notes return with molasses sweetness and a final kiss of sweet Prosciutto ham.
