Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with warm coppery glints.
Nose
Salty coastal air mingles with a gentle peat smoke, notes of iodine and sea breeze. Toasted oak, vanilla and a touch of honey frame ripe pear and apple, with a citrus whisper. A ribbon of brown sugar and spice adds warmth, while a marine mineral lift keeps the aroma bright, refined, and inviting.
Palate
A maritime peat frames a waxy malt backbone, revealing honeyed citrus and orchard fruit. Subtle oak spice—clove and nutmeg—lifts toffee and dried fruit, while sea-salt brine threads through for a saline, coastal edge. Mid-palate hints cocoa and espresso beneath a gentle smoke, finishing long with peat, leather and polished oak.
Finish
Long, maritime smoke lingers, a briny echo of peat that softens into dried fruit, vanilla and toasted oak. Pepper and mineral spice ride the final wave, then fade to a refined coastal note, leaving a warm, lingering sweetness and a hint of almond.
