Colour
Dark amber with mahogany depths and coppery highlights.
Nose
Rich sherry-forward aroma of fig, raisin and date, brightened by orange peel, toffee and dark chocolate. Spices of clove and cinnamon rest on toasted oak, with subtle leather and tobacco adding depth. A maritime peat whisper and iodine thread through the sweetness, leaving vanilla and lacquered wood on the finish.
Palate
Opulent, full-bodied palate of deep sherry influence, with velvety dried fig and raisin sweetness, dark chocolate and toffee. Rich spice of cinnamon and clove, supported by oak and a maritime undercurrent; a warming, oils-hugging texture that coats the mouth, finishing long with lingering fruit, cocoa, and subtle salted caramel.
Finish
Unfolds into a long, opulent finish of sherry-rich sweetness—the sun-dried fruits, cocoa and orange zest, edged with spice and polished oak. A lasting, perfumed fade that slowly ebbs to velvety dryness.
