Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery-red glints—a sunset-hued, richly luminous color.

Nose

Sweet and delicate on the nose, raspberry coulis dances with a growing mustiness, hinting at dunnage warehouses and bung cloth.

Palate

Silky, syrupy at first, the palate unfolds into lush sultanas, ripe bananas and Demerara sugar crystals, delivering a refined, lingering sweetness.

Finish

Coastal salt lingers with buoyant maritime character, tempered by delicate barley water and grassy undertones that weave through the finish, leaving a clean, lingering glow and a craving for another sip.

Springbank
(SPRING-bank) The 14th distillery to be built in the region of Campbeltown, Springbank is still owned by the Mitchell family, who also own the Glengyle distillery in the same region. Springbank produces three different styles of Single Malt; Hazelburn (triple distilled and non peaty) Longrow (twice distilled and heavy peat of 50-55ppm) and Springbank itself (two and a half times distilled and peated to 12-15ppm). Springbank is also one of the few distilleries that malt their own barley and bottle on site.
