Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural golden amber, sun-warmed with honeyed sheen and a whisper of coppery glow.
Nose
Elegant, quiet nose of dried orchard fruits, orange zest and toffee, with creamy vanilla and warm, polished oak. Subtle almond and leather deepen into caramel, while a gentle maritime salt keeps it buoyant. A refined, non-peated profile that speaks of decades in a single refill cask.
Palate
Silky and refined on the palate, with orchard fruits—apple and pear—lifted by citrus zest. A syrupy touch of vanilla and honeyed toffee glides through soft spice, while waxy textures frame the mouthfeel. Light maritime hints and well-integrated oak lend structure without heaviness. Long, elegant finish with dried fruit, gentle warmth and a whisper of sea breeze.
Finish
Remarkably long and refined, the finish coats the palate with polished oak, vanilla, and a whisper of spice. Subtle coastal brine and dried-fruit sweetness persist, fading to a warm, softly spiced echo that lingers gracefully.
