Nose
Potent peat smoke swirls with a briny, coastal core—iodine, sea-salt, and mineral undertone. Vanilla and lightly toasted oak lend a gentle sweetness, while citrus zest and honeyed notes brighten the bouquet. A touch of pepper rounds the aroma, leaving a maritime, smoky impression that hints at the whisky's age.
Palate
Coastal peat and iodine lead into a briny sea-spray core, lacquered with vanilla and citrus oils. Rich, balanced oak lends waxy viscosity, while peppery spice—clove and cinnamon—lurks in the background. The palate is mouth-coating and vibrant, with orange zest and lemon rind cutting through. A long, smoky finish mingles sea salt, ash and mineral bite.
Finish
Long maritime finish of coastal peat and smoke, with briny minerals and a whisper of vanilla. Dark cocoa and toasted oak spice surface, then recede to a bright citrus zest that lingers softly.
